Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd. is an international Canadian oil and gas exploration and production company with interests in exploration and development properties in Egypt and Syria.

Key projects in Syria include a 100% interest the Oudeh Block and the Tishrine/Sheik Mansour Blocks located in northeastern sector of the country. The Corporation's objective is to increase oil recovery and crude oil production at the fields within the Blocks through application of enhanced oil recovery techniques.

Key projects in Egypt are within the West Gharib Block where the Corporation has discovered five oil fields. The Corporation holds a 70% participating interest in the Hana Field and a 45% participating interest in all other fields within the Block.

As of December 31, 2005, gross proved plus probable plus possible reserves was 333,586 MSTB (180,771 MSTB company share); 3P original oil in place in Syria is estimated at 5.5 billion barrels.

Tanganyika's overall strategy over the next three to five years is to focus on growth of cash flow per share and net asset value. The basis of the Company's long range plan is to increase shareholder value through systematic, scaled production increases and paced capital expenditures to minimize exposure to outside capital requirements. The Company's portfolio has ample value creation potential to see significant growth in cash flow and net asset value.
