The Nordic Exchange offers different memberships depending on what products the prospective member wants to trade. Membership can be applicable for one or several markets within the Nordic Exchange. In other words, a member can chose a membership to trade in equity and the fixed income market and/or also trade in the derivatives market.
A member of the Cash market can trade equities, equity rights, convertible loans, subscription options, premium bonds, retail bonds, ETFs and warrants. The products can vary according to the local market. Trading local cash products previously required separate memberships on each exchange. Today NASDAQ OMX has simplified this by creating the Nordic Exchange, which requires only a single membership.
A member of the Derivatives market can trade equity derivatives, index derivatives and fixed income derivatives. Again, these products may vary due to the local market environment. Read more

Membership on the Nordic Exchange includes cash trading on the Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki and Iceland exchanges. Nordic Exchange membership makes it possible for a member to operate on the four exchanges while paying only one membership fee – i.e. a member operating in one exchange can also trade on the other three exchanges without any additional annual or monthly fixed fees. Nordic Exchange membership enables an unprecedented ability to operate seamlessly across the Nordic borders.
Nordic Exchange membership offers members more competitive fees than before, as members now only pay one monthly minimum fee of 900 EUR (8 333 SEK, 6 750 DKK), payable to one exchange only. The fee gives the right to trade in all four marketplaces and no additional entrance fees or annual fixed fees will be charged.
Only one application and one agreement are needed for Nordic Exchange membership. Legally, each trading member is still a member of the individual exchange.
The Nordic Exchange also has a well established cooperation with Oslo Stock Exchange. Oslo SE applies the same set of rules, the same trading system and the same trader authorization as the Nordic Exchange.
Furthermore, connection to all three Baltic marketplaces using the same technical connection as the Nordic Exchange is now possible, although separate memberships are still required. For additional information about membership go to the Baltic marketplaces.
