Legal structure of the Nordic Exchange
Stock exchange activities within the Nordic Exchange are operated under the provisions of the stock exchange licences possessed by OMX Nordic Exchange Copenhagen, OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm, OMX Nordic Exchange Helsinki and OMX Nordic Exchange Iceland.

As a central counterparty, OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm also has a licence enabling it to provide central counterparty clearing for derivatives trading. Derivatives activities are operated under the secondary name "OMX Derivatives Markets".

In operative terms, activities have been divided into two business areas: Nordic Marketplaces and Information Services & New Markets. The latter business area also offers certain services that do not constitute stock exchange activities, e.g. the supply of information distribution services. Such services are supplied via OMX Nordic Exchange group Oy, which is a Finnish holding company within the group, through which all the stock exchanges are owned.
